The tips below are provided as suggested operational procedures, and are provided as guidance only. Click the topic of the tip to show or hide see the steps involved.

 

Deck Cleaning

Deck CleaningApply chemical solution to the surface at low pressure. For best results, limit your work area to small sections of approximately 25 square feet. Allow deck wash to remain on surface 1-3 minutes or as recommended by chemical manufacturer.

Do not allow detergent to dry on surface.

Rinse at high pressure in long sweeping motion keeping the spray nozzle approximately 3-6 inches from cleaning surface.

When moving to another section of the cleaning surface, be sure to overlap the previous section to eliminate stop marks and ensure a more even cleaning results.

Caution: On a wood surface, DO NOT hold the nozzle to close to the surface as it may cause damage.

 

 
Barbecue Grills, Outdoor Power Equipment, and Garden Tools

Barbeques, Outdoor EquipmentApply chemical solution with low pressure. For best results, clean one side of the vehicle at a time and apply chemical from bottom up on a dry surface.

Do not allow detergent to dry on surface of vehicle.

Rinse at high pressure in a sweeping motion keeping the spray nozzle approximately 6-8 inches from the vehicle surface.

Wipe surface with dry chamois of soft cloth. You may also apply chemical detergent by hand using circular motion.

Repeat any cleaning step twice for deep cleaning.

 

 

House Cleaning

*These steps refer to external house cleaning, not to be confused with carpet or any type of indoor use.

 

House CleaningApply chemical solution to the surface at low pressure or you may use a wet mop. For best results, limit your work area to sections of approximately 6 feet and always apply chemical detergent from the bottom up.

Allow detergent to remain on surface 1-3 minutes or as recommended by chemical manufacturer.

Do not allow detergent to dry on surface, if surface appears to be drying, rinse with fresh water.

Rinse at high pressure in long sweeping motion keeping the spray nozzle approximately 6 inches from cleaning surface, when moving to another section of the cleaning surface.

Caution: For wood or aluminum siding, Do not hold the nozzle too close to the surface as it may cause damage.

 

 

Cement Patios, Brick and Stone Surface

Patios, Brick & Stone SurfacesApply chemical detergent at low pressure.

Do not allow chemical detergent to dry on surface.

Rinse at high pressure in long sweeping pattern across surface holding spray nozzle about 3-6 inches from surface. Hold nozzle 3-6 inches away from surface to avoid damage.

Repeat process for deep stubborn stains.

 

 

Sun Room and Siding

Sunroom and SidingAlways set up ladders and other support platforms in a safe manner before beginning operation. Keep the pressure washer on the ground.

Apply chemical detergent at low pressure.

Do not allow chemical detergent to dry on surface.

Rinse at high pressure in long sweeping pattern across surface holding spray nozzle about 3-6 inches from surface. Hold nozzle 3-6 inches away from surface to avoid damage.

Repeat process for deep stubborn stains.
